A few days ago, we reported an incident where there was a sad dog that seemed to be abandoned by her owner in the middle of a busy road in Kuala Lumpur.

She looked like she was frowning and confused as she waited for her owner to come back.

But it turned out that this dog was not abandoned, and apparently, the reason why she looked so confused was that she had somehow wandered into a new area that was very much different from the usual area she played around in.

So how do we know that for sure?

Caretaker Clarifies

A netizen posted onto the Facebook page I Need A Home – Woofs & Meows clarifying the entire situation around this dog. He mentioned that the dog was actually a stray and was well-fed and loved.

According to his post, he and another netizen were curious about the dog’s story so they went ahead to look for the caring uncle who has been feeding strays around the area for seven to eight years. The uncle also clarified that this dog has been around the area for about two to three years already.

However, she has been feeling a little more adventurous as she ventures to different areas other than her usual spot.

One of the places she explored was where the original concerned netizen took a photo of her and posted it to the Facebook page A Fortress Of Fur, telling people of this seemingly abandoned dog. The area was reportedly still quite close to where the uncle usually feeds strays.

She looks so carefree and happy here.

It is nice to know that she is well taken care of and doesn’t lack any food. Despite being adventurous, she is very careful when she’s moving around and will not stay on the roads.

The netizen also clarified that he was the one who placed the umbrella next to the dog because the rain was making the food he gave her wet. He has been feeding her for the past month now.

She’s Happy Now

The netizen mentioned that he believes that this dog is happy with her life now as she is taken care of properly but still has the freedom to roam the places that she wants to go. The uncle also told him that she loves running around, so the netizen believes that she doesn’t need any rescuing.

He then advises others not to attempt to capture her because she enjoys her freedom now. So everyone, please do take note! If you go to Kuala Lumpur and happen to see her, just leave her to be. She will be happier that way.
